Pam - that's a good one. When my bil who worked for an insurance company got sales calls he used to interrupt them and ask if they would like to buy life insurance. They soon gave up. Sometimes I just can't be bothered to go through the rigmarole and tell callers that I'm the cleaner. Actually I am the cleaner
Hello everyone, back from hols, had mixed weather but a lovely time, awful drive back, the rain followed us from Cornwall most of the way home, had to stop a couple of times, me and little girl travel sick, was excited to see garden so st 10pm went out to cut sweet peas, got 3 little vases, hurrah! Still waiting to see 2 of my roses in flower, both flowered while away, more buds now, am v impatient! Haven' t had chance to catch up much so sorry if i've missed much, hope everyone ok and all gardens full and bountiful, skim read a bit, noticed a cake( obviously! ) happy birthday Monty!
Poor mum Dove, but as Bekkie said at least she was reliving a happy time although it must be hard for you.
Well my eldest was 10 days early, I didn't even realise I was actually in labour and thought I had a tummy bug I was busy putting his drawers together for the nursery.....he is always just on time...sometimes possibly slightly late now and never rushes!!! I think that goes against the theory.
Little man was 4 days late and is always ready and early.....well except for yesterday morning when he fell back to sleep!!
I think I'm all footballed out.......off for a bath
Rain and thunder got here at 3 ish I was out planting a few foxgloves near the pond and got wet had to finish up and shelter in my plastic gh, lucky I had done the plant tray shifty into other gh of newly potted on seedlings from the other day
fed birds too - the food goes down so quick might be because the mice and rats eat it too but not all the feeders so the birds are eating a lot too
love your garden nice and mucky dirt, but looked good like the amount of grass used and the agapanthus popping up through
Glad you had a good time in Cornwall rosemummy. You will have to take some pics of your sweet peas and roses when they come out. It's funny how you miss your garden when you are away even though you're enjoying yourself.
OK so my theory isn't foolproof
Brazil are taking a hammering - son says it's embarrassing to watch and the fans are crying. Someone tell them it's only a game
Hello Rose and Chicky, glad you both have had lovely times.
Exactly Lesley.....it's only a game....I would never cry if Blackpool lost an important game I did cry when we won a big match though and so did grown men old enough to be my grandad
You could say that ol, was yoga good? That's what I should be doing while oh watches footy! Did manage a couple of sessions while we were away, I think I must have missed some posts about babies? My first was2 weeks early, second was 4 days early, first labour 5 hours 2nd was they broke my waters as I had choleostasis..he came 50 minutes later! I lost my bet, I said 4 hours, oh said 2 ..neither of us guessed it'd be quite that quick!
