Hope that Crayfish is in the pan Pdocimage a Scooby snack for later.

We've had a decent day here, but now great blobs of rain and some rumbling going on.

I've been behind the back of old GH that is near our boundry fence and attacked, or was attacked by berberis, overgrown golden hops and solanum crispum, mental note don't leave it another 5 yrs before I do it again image Loads of blinking ivy that needs pulling out, but that's for another day. Green bin that was emptied yesterday is now full again.

Hope all have a good evening, lazy Mo that I am we're having curry again ( bought extra on Wed's) well it is Saturday and it is an official curry night, plus  had 3 weeks deprivation to make up for image. Will cook tomoz' will try to replicate a meal from hols, braised pork with Ouzo gravy imageimage Dunno if Mum will like it image

Like the sound of Ouzo gravy.... actually don't bother with the gravy, just pass the bottle. I wonder if it is still good when it is wet and cold, or, does it have to be drunk outside in the warm?

Hi Pdoc, me thinks it needs to be very warm weather and a drop( or 4 )  in a glass with plenty of ice. Was the crayfish one of ours or a foreign one?  Shows your stream is clean, good enough to add a drop of water to the Ouzo.

Might have to test warm weather theory when I decide how much to add to the gravy image Apols now in case I repeat myself tomoz' after making the gravy image

Evening all image Don't add too much of the oozo KEF, you want to save some to drink image

Hope the Twigs had a good day - missed going image

Very jealous doc - crayfish are lovely....yumm ...err, I mean, how lovely having that in the stream....imageimage

Been digging  - ex husband asked if I'd found any bodies...I said they would have been easier to dig up than the three pieces of concrete kerb,  breeze blocks, bricks and rocks I've found so far...image

Sounds good Panda - although I could only have beans or cheese not both.. in fact, I don't really like beans much so it would be cheese  image

I had leftover mince from last night's cottage pie, with little potatoes and extra carrots and will now put my feet up and catch up on here with a cuppa before I nod off. image

Wish I could nod off image. Another 30 minutes of train journey, then an hours drive home image. However, all worthwhile as had a very successful day - Chicklet has another strong contender for her list. And thats all for now .... just a small matter of producing a string of good grades next summer- there doesn't seem to be much room for manouvre these days.

And tomorrow ..... I will garden imageimage

You're right - and it's very stressful. Glad you've had a worthwhile trip though image

Glad it was a successful day Chicky.

Finished putting gravel around the shed, looks a lot neater. Emptied 4 troughs and 3 pots of summer bedding and added some new compost, ready for pansies, violas and wallflowers. Lots more to do though. Sowed sweet peas.

Going to new restaurant after church tomorrow in the village where church is. Run by a young couple. Quite a few of us are going.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Can't stand ouzo so not jealous at all.  Now if you were talking about a good wine that would be different.
