OL my father told my brother and I that I was an accident but he was a mistake because they planned to have him and by the time they changed his mind it was too late.
Yeah - father didn't read the book on how not to emotionally damage your children!
You never know though; you might still have that surprise baby. My grandfather was a surprise I remember my great aunt telling me how when she was around 16 (and her sister 14) they got a rush lesson in how babies are made and born when her mothers stomach ache that had been grumbling for a few days turned out to be labour pains!
I'm sure even now it happens more often than you'd think
I have many friends in a certain social group who are born in July. I tease them that the biggest event of the year for our hobby happens in September and so obviously there much be a lot of drinking and nookie going on in those there fields!
Nothing to do in the office means I'm drinking lots of water which of course means... I am at least "occupied" a lot of the time
Hi everyone all this babytalk and me on my first day off nanny duties since Saturday! Bekkie dont let them put you off, I was so unmaternal (is that a word) that when I told my boss he offered his condolences, but never regretted a single day. First baby a bit messy, labour a bit too quick for a first only 4.5 hours, the second one really caught me off guard at half passed 4 in the afternoon I was deciding whether to have spag bol for tea and at quarter to six she was born! nearly didnt make it good job the traffic lights were on green. Hope everyone has a good time at HC, not going until Sunday and the weather looks pants according to the BBC. Garden took a bit of a battering with the rain yesterday and its quite windy today, better get out there and tidy up a bit.
Hello all. Our visitors have just left for the airport with OH. Having coffee before tackling the long overdue weeding, but it's just rained.
Have I missed all the baby talk? I had 4, now have nearly 8 grandchildren. First baby took 24 hours, hardly got to the hospital in time for the 4th. The nurse told me I couldn't push because she hadn't filled in the admission papers. But it was too late and No 4 was born! Only had 1 painful contraction. Went to hospital because waters had broken, not because of pain. They are all coming to stay in August, except No.4 because he lives nearby, for No.4's baby (grandchild no.7) is being baptised.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Lightweight. My brother was 3 weeks late and weighed 13 1b 8 oz. My mum had him at home, and when the doctor came the next day, he said the baby looked like a three month old.He filled the carry cot end to end. He used to have all the breast milk mum could produce and a bottle as well. He's a strapping 6 ft 5 now.
Definately not! Thats huge - i was only 6lb 13oz, seems small compared to babies these days, your brother must have been very unusual, did your poor mom have any more after him?
hello everyone.. morning spent in garden .. weeding.. and shocked to see that all that rain yesterday and the ground is rock hard from inch down and the wind is destroying my flowers and tall plants..
wow fidgetbones.. bug strong lad then.. on babies my nipper was 9 1/2 lbs and is already near on 4 1/2 ft at 8 years old..
