None of Cleve Beau - although we did go for a chat with him at the end - such a nice man
Guests arrived at 11.30 (instead of the planned 1pm - drives me mad) - so I was still up to my elbows in weeds and mud. But had time to plant my irises, frittilarys and byzantine glads, plus get a few more heathers in the driveway bank.
Could hardly tell you were on a train chicky It does take your breath away just how beautiful the scenery is in Britain. Next time you are having guests ask them to bring a change of clothes if they are coming early or leaving late
Glad you had a lovely late birthday treat lily. What a great photo of the poppies at the tower. Very moving.
Those are great pics Lily Looks like you had a good day. Am hoping for one of the poppies for Christmas, although I know it won't be delivered until Feb
Lily, those poppies are beautiful. How long are they there for do you know? We are going to try and fit in a weekend trip to London with the boys before the end of the year. Glad you had a lovely day and happy belated birthday day
Guess what......no bulb planting I did manage to look in on my chillies in the GH, still doing great and lots of chillies , but with walk in freezer lights to fix, an order to deliver (that was missed on Friday!), more admin and attempting some family time they sort of got forgotten.......again.
I read back earlier about Stacey, how is she doing does anyone know? Thinking of her and sending hugs if she is popping in xx
This is the bargain buys from the other day as well I got some violas and cyclamen which is all going into two hanging baskets also brought some coloured heathers
This is my buy from yesterday just under £15 - 5 grow bags and 4 topsoil bags
been doing shredding today until it rained bits of the buddleia make good chippings
