Good morning all.  The sun is beginning to make an appearance here and I am going to venture out to see what has been flattened by the heavy rain last night.

KEF lol at you stamping on snails at lily heightimage  Hope you find the culprit.

Your plants sound lovely Panda. Love lime marmalade and the plant is pretty special tooimage

Enjoyed all the pictures of your visit yesterdayimage

Morning all. Sounds like slugs to me KEF image

Very wet here last night but no storms or lightning - not sure whether I'm disappointed or not - I rather like thunderstorms image

Glad you had no damage Clari. It wouldn't be nice to be hit by it. I'd quite like to watch the golf but if it's going to be a nice day I should be out sawing, grass cutting and such...image

I have a couple of Lime Marmalade KEF but I'm not that impressed with them. Bit too lettucey looking and have a lot of rust despite being cut back and well watered etc. image

Just wrote a long post on a thread about grass and hit the wrong button and it disappeared image

Glad everyone had a lovely day out yesterday. Will have to go and a look at all the pix in  a moment. Do you think Woody will be taking it easy after all his hard work and success too? I'm sure he's had a sherbert or two to celebrate image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Morning All - lie in for meimage

Looks like the sun is going to hide behind the clouds here today - which is good, as i have two garden areas that need some attention, and i would have melted if i'd attempted it yesterdayimage.  Both need a serious weed and tidy up, and some judicious hacking back too.  Thats a gardening skill that never gets enough attention in the literature.....the great hack back.  Maybe i should write a book .....

Woody - we want pictures of your awards, trophies and prize winning entriesimage

Morning all.  A lot cooler today her, no sun and a slight breeze......it seems that we have missed the heat wave and the storms image

Sounds like a lovely day yesterday and looking forward to seeing the pics.

RM, hope you manage a bit of a rest later.

Beach with the hounds for us and then I am most definitely going in the garden, even if it rains!!!

Well done Woody, looking forward to seeing those pics too image

23'C and rising rapidly here - my trowel was almost too hot to touch while potting up a couple of my bargain bin strawberries.  I'm not sure how my chillies are coping in the greenhouse its unbearable in there but they seem to love it.

Is it too early to take a nap?
