Thank you all for support with Open Garden, I do hope it will be good enough to meet people's expectations. I do think it was a beautiful garden once, have seem pictures actually that are stunning, just hope I can get it back to it's best and haven't killed too much off in the attempt. image

Saw a load of Hebes this morning in the supermarket, unfortunately not Jaspers  but gave me hope that they are expected to grow around here. image

House nice and clean and even managed to collect two more giant bags of leaves to stash for next year, the leaf crate I made is well and truly full but bags are ok too I believe.

Just need to go and water plants in greenhouse, now it is all insulated ready for winter it is way too hot with this late summer sun. image

Enjoy your evening all, I believe there is a big party on somewhere!!! image

Do be sure to share those pictures D Damsel - I know we all love seeing gardens develop over the years.

Well the greenhouse is clean, the garlic planted, the tulips... erm. Can't quite remember whereI put their bag!

Too pooped to do much more so having some time to stretch out on the sofa before we shut the curtains and hide from the banging on the door of strangers thrusting their small children in front of you to demand a handful of sweets. Neighbours and children I know are more than welcome to come knocking,  I know it's one night of fun. But we spend so much time pushing "stranger danger" it makes me itch to see children from streets away trusting that we're not adding rat poison to those mars bars. image

We still have Flash the white mouse running around the patio. I thought the cats or foxes would have had it by now.
