Been sunny but cold here today.  Have been to Ashwoods and didn't buy anything.  However, I did have a nice blueberry and raspberry scone with clotted cream and jam.image  It was really packed today as it was one of John's open days.  Didn't go round as it was a bit cold.  I think I'll wait for the summer one.

I removed the escallonia that had leaf spot and have ordered a Pyracantha Saphyr Orange to fill the gap its supposed to have good disease resistance and will hopefully be nice and cheerful in the winter.

Glad we're all back image For once I can say afternoon and not feel lazy for lying in my bed all day image

Have turned myself into a one person quiz machine in prep for the quiz we are running tonight for the Guides to raise money for our trip to Dublin in May image Marathon round is the stations on the Shipping forecast! To assist I have provided the names of them too as some would have no hope and that just isn't fair!

*Quiz is for adults btw image

Phew I thought it was me as well!!

Been fairly garden busy - Have builder in so it involved OH having to move some plants. One was an orange Erysinum, rather than potting it up I took a dozen cuttings in the hope that one will take. Also had to move a little holly tree now in a pot and distribute various containers in other places, one place being the space between the skip and the car not exactly ideal!

I did some 'real' gardening - raked lightly some spent compost as soil improver on one of raised beds- no discomfort image and was very carefull

Going to watch GW, and Kew this evening as I haven't seen them before, wine with  meal then hope to stay awake for Montalbano

Will now attempt to catch up on other threads I'm following, now I know it wasn't my fault

Gently does it Mattyimage  Nice to be out in the fresh air though

no gardening here today - littlest chicklet wanted a trip to Guildford.  Managed to incorporate cakeimage

OH has barrowed round a big heap of manure ready for me to do some mulching tomorrow, when the day is my own.  Big job, but hoping it will save me a few weeding sessions later on.

hoping to find Kew on the iPlayer later onimage

I've offered some of the famous Dave saved tomato seeds imageon the swap thread. Enough to send to two peeps first come first served, give me a shout by PM if you want them. Outdoor medium sized cherry bush ones.

Clari will verify that they taste nice image
