Just watching Walking through History (channel 4) with Tony Robinson. It's about beautiful Glen Tilt ( where I was recently) Blair Atholl and Braemar etc
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
There we go! I knew if I looked back enough I'd find how to work this site - couldn't post so eventually found a post (Kef?) telling me how to use 'basic editor' from settings! So here I am! A bit late for anyone I suppose?
I had wanted to post a new thread for ID - but little miss clever clogs remembered what it was after a couple of hours... I have a plant called Baptista - however I wish I'd not looked it up cos now I know it's in the wrong place and doesn't like moving!
I'm not at all happy with much in my garden this year, love all the plants but want them ALL rearranged!
Spent the day pottering, pondering the autumn moves, grass cutting, tinkering, and then an evening of watering (after lovely OH fixed both hosepipes).
Missed your errr mishaps (!) last night Edd! Have a lovely time on your venture and see you at xmas!
Back from a productive fortnight in Scotland, painting walls and doors, unblocking drains , rebuilding garden walls (again! - took them down this time to solid parts & rebuilt properly; we shall see...), sorting cupboards, digging brambles, watching the sunset... I'll post photos at the end of the week, cos grandchildren (and their parents) are arriving tomorrow from Ireland, and there's no time for anything not tidying/cleaning/cooking related.
Many congrats, Wonky! Not surprised you're over the moon!
Enjoy your adventure, Edd.
See you all later!
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Interesting as there's no eggs in it.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

Have you all noticed lots of gardening programmes next week from 3.45 each day
It's not 'spicy' - more of an almost mild lemony flavour - very delicate flavour.
From 3.45 pm you say ... I'll have to get the knitting out ........
