    Beautiful plants Bill

  • Afternoon all. Having just come back on here I went to see my beautiful little granddaughter and was without internet image.

In fact I feel like I've lost an arm as my phone has also been playing up and has now died. I'm really upset as I took some pics of the garden which I now fear I have lost.

I visited St Margarets nurseries in Titchfield yesterday with my Mum. They specialise in fuchsias and I got a lovely Golden Snowcap. The first time I've seen one and am really excited as my snowcap died (through drying out) this winter.

I also got a Heathfield for my daughter. She asked me to choose one which she can just plant and forget. I find it stunning and blooms throughout the summer.

Well I'm going back to my daughters to spend time with her and baby Poppy tomorrow so am not sure how much time I'll get to keep up on here.

  • Wow bill those orchids are amazing!!! Well we are back from the crocus sale!!!! Spent up lol when we got back we totted it all up and it came to £578.00 roughly and we spent £125 !!! Yey got 2 helleniums I have no idea where to put them but as everyone raves about them I thought why not and ecinechia tomato soup which I love!!!

Two amazing rocking chairs and Marrakech lanterns....

    Just. Few of my bargains!!!!

  • I do wish we lived closer to each other as my dear Wife wants to move into an apartment and there goes my garden and my house plants plus I'm getting old and frail (gosh I hate to admit this) and my Orchids will need new homes. There are not a lot of people here that can grow Orchids even though they are easier than African Violets.Guess I will donate everything to a local garden club.

OW!!!!  No more knitting for a while this afternoon - I just picked up this laptop without seeing that a queen wasp was crawling along the side of it!  She stuck her sting into my left forefinger and hung there pumping in her venom - fortunately I'd got some Wasp-eze in my handbag - a few years out of date but it's taken the heat out of my finger - but it's swelling up a bit OW OW OW!!! image

And after I was so nice to that queen wasp out in the garden on Tuesday! image

He's at work!  I might give him a ring and suggest he brings some medicinal chocolate home with him.
