I think they pull the plug on certain things for the weekend if they think someone is going to kick off.  Thats this weeks conspiracy theory anyway.

EU have lent Greece 5 bn so they can pay back 2.5 bn this afternoon. imageimage

Isn't that a bit like a wonga loan?

I too have been busy with the compost heaps. Big black tardis with done compost has been emptied into old compost sacks so I can use it around the garden. Two daleks and a rotol have been emptied into the tardis for final maturation.

Two builders bags of old leaves, shredded shrubs and grass clippings have  been well and truly mixed up and the daleks and rotol filled up again. They are currently steaming hot.  Who needs a gym membership?, although I might need a good massage.image

    Good morning all,

Been rushed off my feet this morning, had some 'walk-ins' last night, very pleasant but messed up my plans to go shopping to Limoges (an hour away). Hoping to go very shortly but waiting for OH, quick phone call he said - half an hour ago. image

Going to try and get my 'white bed' in order later, but then I have got 5 for dinner tonight so if we get back too late from Limoges that might have to be a job for tomorrow. image

Went to two Open Gardens yesterday, both very nice, impressive because not so long ago they were both fields. One in particular had some great features, a lovely ornamental veg patch, very pretty and mostly edible, (was even given some courgettes and melons, delicious) and a lovely long walk- way of climbing roses. The other had a lovely step down terrace leading to a lily pond with a fantastic view over rolling countryside and a huge impressive chateau. Also saw some 'garden art, apparently it's the 'new' thing, wasn't quite sure about it, looked nice in their garden but don't think it would fit in mine. Think I am a bit too old fashioned. image

Unfortunately, no chance to take any pictures, was given guided walks and had to walk quickly to keep up. imageimage

Right, off to glare at OH, if we are going we need to go now..... image

Good day to you all. image
