Went to plant fair (alone), enjoyed it but only bought alpines for sisters birthday. Resisted temptation for myself.
Went to local GC, explained recently bought weeping cherry was dead, not too interested , if I bring in a branch they may be able to help diagnose why, not likely to get refund or replacement!
Thanks for the kind comments. Rb - that dog is not so little - she can pull me off my feet by deciding to smell a gatepost. She may have a cute face Susan but she has worked out the whole family and knows who to go to for everything she wants.

Does anyone remember the old weather vane things where a little old lady and little old man go in and out? Well I've been the little old lady today with washing on the line and my weeding bucket. Think I'll watch tennis!
Afternoon all, Lovely and sunny here, we had quite a bit of rain in the night so the garden has had a good watering. Friend popped round today so that I could show her all the eccentricities in the house as she is going to stay here while we go on hols.
Have been holiday washing all day, watching wimbledon at the mo, hope Roger wins. No posts from Clari today hope she is OK.

. My plants are a lot smaller but I'll see how they do and have a proper plan for next year
Please don't look too closely as there's still plenty to do. I know the grass needs cutting but I can't start the mower. Hope it's dry this afternoon.
