What about some ibuprofen now KEF as an anti inflammatory to try and prevent it hurting? Good luck with the GH image

Hope the GH is worth the initial effort KEF and it makes it to it's new home in just the right number of pieces, not too manyimageimage

Hoping Oh will be replacing two fence panels at W-end. So I've dug around the concrete posts, moved and repositioned what plants I could  from mine and NDN gardens, then put some slabs down so he can strategically place his feet!image Hope the plan works but in reality will get trampled plants right left and centre!image

Now feel pathetically weak, had a good breakfast earlier but feel like I need to eat. Didn't want to stuff my face with chocolate and biscuits (well actually I did want to  but resisted), instead had a cereal bar, a banana, a yoghurt and 10 minutes later when still felt no better had a thick slice of bread and butter. Might as well just have had a couple of biscuits!

Morning all. Seems to be a lot of sad news on here this morning, my sympathy to all concerned.

Have managed to plant out some of my Autumn sown seeds this morning, my Scabious Chile Black has made far more substantial plants than, when I Spring sow it.

Mandarin ducks have been more daring today, coming out of pond and sitting on the lawn.

Hope its not a waste of time Kef, and the GH is worth having.

So is  it down to the cabin tomorrow? Depending on theme, I'll either go as a lady pirate or aunt sally lol image

Well, I got over my hunger pangs and have been playing out again.

Verdun's miscanthus is now in situ - although not where I thought it was going to go - my gardens a bit too flexible, or 'fluid' if I'm being fancy - anyway, I mean I change my mind a bit too often! Also had to move another grass to compliment it. Think it will look nice when everything is growing well in a few months. Working hard towards trying to get secret and hidden areas to some degree.

Well if the party is fancy dress, I shall be in torn up clothes, with zips and safety pins, and my hair dyed green. Come to think of it, I havent really got enough hair to dye it, and I dont think a mohican would work either. Promise that there will be no gobbing, I wasnt that sort of a punk.

I have managed to make some space in the greenhouse, so I can now move some plants out there, from the window sills. The OH will be pleased, until she realises that there are plenty more seeds to be sown.

Haven't done much baking this week, but have got some good cheese scones I can bring to the party, if we haven't eaten them all image

Well, I've got my tomatoes sown - Brandywine, Jaune Negib, Cherokee Purple, Red Alert and Gardener's Delight - just about half a dozen of each and I'll give some to a friend otherwise we stand the chance of spending the summer in a tomato forest!!!

I've also sown some Gold Rush courgettes image

Do you remember me telling you that I'd broken my newest glasses and have reverted to my older ones?  Well, they're fine, except ............. I've got a crop of ash seedlings in amongst the rows of  newly germinating beetroot and sorrel imageimageimage

And you know those red Lily Beetles that like lilies?  Well, I found one on my Purple Sprouting Broccoli image  Squidged it just the same - it might pretend it doesn't like lilies, but I don't believe it image

Loads of lovely Swiss Chard picked for supper image
