I've emailed the web team to let them know about the PM blip.

Forking Folk - you've all been so kind about my friend's illness, but please don't feel that you shouldn't continue to post 'irrelevant rubbish' as someone called their post - it's that sort of thing that keeps us sane through times of trouble image

My friend is a long way away in Worcs.  We met via a foody forum and became close friends, sharing a love of not only food but art, literature and architecture and meeting up for adventures involving them.  She has absolutely no interest in gardening whatsoever image but has always been very tolerant of my lingering to look at gardens when visiting stately homes (for the art, architecture and cakes).

So beware folks, shared interests can results in deep friendships image

Morning all, lovely and sunny here and more of my birders gets the sun first thing than I thought, so it seems I may have made a mistake in home planting, so think I will start another thread for that one.

Is there a bit if a do tomorrow at the cabin then??  I missed the last one as I had only just joined and wondered what the heck was going on when I read all the posts LOL.....as will anyone new to Forkers now I expect image

I need to get more seed trays today, I can't believe I've run out!! And my compost for the potato bins and some sort of 'wigwam' equipment for my sweetpeas image

I didn't have a great night sleep either.  I think I jinxed myself last week when I said I have been sleeping well because ever since I have been having the wierdest dreams, so much so I didn't speak to OH for almost 2 days image

Bill, sorry I forgot to answer your question.  All my Orchids are just normal Phalaenopsis (Moth Orchid). I have 4, all different colours and I started 'collecting' them 4 1/2 years ago when a good friend bought me one as a housewarming present. There are a lot more I would like, and different varieties, but don't want to push my luck at the moment when I've been buying so many outdoor plants imageimage

Hi folks - I've heard from Daniel - he has PM problems too - he's passed it to the Helpdesk as an Urgent task so hopefully it shouldn't take too long before it's sorted. image

    Thanks for update Doveimage

My day in the garden has been changed. I mentioned a bit back that I've the chance of a re-placement GH, which is currently over run with Ivy and in a state. We need to make a start uncovering it to see if it's worth dismantling and hiring a van to get it here. OH has decided today is a good day to make a start. Do I take paracetamol now or when my back starts to ache?  image

BFN will hopefully be back later. image
