Looking forward to pics of the Shedlet (small, but perfectly formed). Glad you had a good walk yesterday Fairy .....love the sound of cuckoos too. We get them here (although not heard yet this year), but have never seen one. I am sure they are beautiful in their own way. Good luck with the rellies Clari ....maybe they will bring cake.
Yesterday didn't quite work out as planned - Mr Chicky decided he needed a new lawnmower, so I went along to make sure he picked one that was a nice colour. He can now keep the grass paths in our vegetable garden neat and tidy (the tractor is a bit unwieldy for tight corners). He spent the rest of the afternoon playing with his new machine, so everything is looking lovely out there today, and I can get to the GH without wading through knee high (and possibly adder concealing) grass. Sometimes I wonder whether we have a garden or a safari park.
Hidden Gardens in the village today. Littlest sis is coming to have a nosey with me
The Shedlet doesn't arrive until Tuesday - we will have a grand opening with cake and alcofrolics - it will come already painted and erected (hope it'll squeeze down the side path!).
Having seen the pile of tools it's going to be expected to house, the Undergardener/Artist is going to make a sign to go over the door 'The Tardis'
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Morning all, grey and a bit drizzely here. Not cold though. No damage in the garden today although there are quite a few pigeon feathers floating about.
Feeling really tired today, have to get ready for Cornwall and grandchildren and Firstborn are coming over to see Nanny Sticks (my mum, so called because she used to use two walking sticks when she was mobile).
No gardening planned for today apart from giving the lawns a quick once over weather permitting.
Last of the chelsea coverage to watch, must say my 'plant wish list' has certainly grown over the last few days.

Morning all.
Damp here at the moment.
My Birthday present is a 2 day trip to Sissinghurst and Great Dixter later in the summer. What a lucky boy I am.
Hope everyone has a lovely Sunday, I shall mostly be eating and drinking, starting with a sausage sandwich.
