Oh sorry, morning all, have been out and about this morning, have decided that there are a couple of small areas of the garden that I'm not happy with (there's a shocker). So when I come back from Cornwall I might just have to do a little bit of rearranging.
Verdun, did you say grey and rain. That better change, you know you promised me tropical conditions.
P'doc, I'll be 27 around this time next year, hope you have a good day. I'm planning to celebrate my birthday next year by going to Chelsea. I'm really enjoying most of the coverage, but like everyone else I'd love to see more detail re the plants, rather than the general visit to the stands and chats about gold medals.
Going back out there to do a bit more so will catch up again later.
Took an ancient freezer to the tip to find the tip was shut today. Bother, need the trailer to get an extra roof panel for the bit where we sit on the terrace. OH wanted to do it this afties as he's going to England tomorrow for a few days.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Wonky, at least you'll have saved pennies for the next sticky plants you find...
Strange weather here. Windy and misty, not cold, but damp in the air. Glad I cut the grass yesterday!
Yvie, I'm planning my first Chelsea Flower Show visit for next year, when I've saved up enough to cover the trip. Looking forward to it already... I've had a quick peek online at possible cheapish places to stay, and reasonably-priced travel. Nothing like planning ahead!
Right. Off to potter in the (damp) garden, & collect the tools etc I need to take with me to York tomorrow. Helping son & DIL with their garden. Think I might be helping demolish a wall, make a path & repair some steps.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Been in the garden making good use of a scorching hot day, list of jobs to be found on the other thread. Working the weekend but feel rested again, took all week to recover, thanks for the get well wishes
Hope everyone has that Friday feeling what ever you are doing
