Flumpy, I have never worked in what I'm qualified to do, just what I can get that doesn't make me miserable! You could always retrain? I started my degree when I was 35 and got so much from it personally.

flumpy - I do sympathise. Horrible situation for you. There's something wrong with people who think bullying workers is the way to get the best from them As others are saying - get out in the garden and it'll make you feel a bit more positive. Next time you see him, don't imagine him naked (as is the usual advice) imagine him as a big slug and you have a bag of salt....
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
