I have adopted Verduns attitude of complaining about stuff that is not up to scratch.
So far this year I have had a polytunnel cover which disintegrated after less than a season replaced. Phlox delivered far too late last year and penstemon plugs which turned up their toes, replaced.
Misdescribed lilies have been replaced.
A hellebore from wyevale with a nasty disease refunded.
I ordered some Trillium roots last year. One of them, a very expensive T. grandiflorum pleno has shown no sign of growth. I have complained. After the second email and a gap of about a week, I got an email offering to replace it if I pay the postage (£4.95) Anybody think that reasonable?
Love Molly chicky. Panda I thought he was our Hosta - not just yours.
Just back from B&Q with my cement mix but really haven't worked out how to tackle the lay of the land. It's only a mini patio down the garden which had sunk and cracked but I want to make as good a job as I can with what I've got.
This morning was spent trying to break into the attic as the opening mechanism had broken. We did manage eventually. All this time wasted when the weeds are growing by the hour. OH has cut the grass while I've been out though.

I don't think that's reasonable Fidget
They should ship it out for free - you have already had to pay for the "dead" one to be sent to you
I'm just thinking of a polite way to put it. It was potted in the same way as some others I had,and they are OK. So I'm assuming it was duff?
Molly is beautiful
Fidget I'm sure you will find the right words
Lesley who have you got locked in the attic
Raining now, but I've been in the garden & GH this morning
Pdoc chin up 5 years to get over it
Panda well done on your win

I'm feeling very virtuous - both lawns mowed and edges strimmed.
