Morning all! Jo, that sounds something like a sitcom that you'd think wouldn't happen in the real life! Hope leg feeling ok. I had a nervousness of dogs as a toddler that my parents couldn't understand where it came from. As a teenager I overrode the nervous feeling with common sense but then got bitten twice. I think dogs know! I class myself a cat lover...At least I did until one started pooing out front but I won't start that discussion again....
Hosta, I think some people use religion as an excuse to behave in a nasty way. which is bonkers as the true message of most religions is the opposite; typical humans have twisted it. Just remember that "normal" people do not behave like that. It's them that have the problem not you. Difficult though with a split family, I grew up in a family where one half wouldn't talk to us, and we didn't even know why. I made my own family out of close friends and neighbours. Had a pseudo gran and pseudo aunt and uncle. Perhaps your OH should choose his own sibling?
Not the best night's sleep I've ever had but trying to be thankful that problem with car happened now and not in three weeks' time when we'd be on a motorway heading for Cornwall
OH has gone to work and I'll phone him later with a list of things to bring back to feed us for the weekend - I shall play in the garden and maybe bake something and watch athletics - it's Mo's 5000m final today and the 100m relay finals
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

Dove! Sounds a nightmare! That garage is making double the cost of the car in repairs isn't it!

Have a lovely weekend all

Morning all.
Awake early because of back again. Bad backs and MILs do not mix.
Depending on how things are going, I will either be on here a lot this weekend, or not at all.
Have a lovely weekend all.

Hello everyone
Not the best night's sleep I've ever had but trying to be thankful that problem with car happened now and not in three weeks' time when we'd be on a motorway heading for Cornwall

OH has gone to work and I'll phone him later with a list of things to bring back to feed us for the weekend - I shall play in the garden and maybe bake something and watch athletics - it's Mo's 5000m final today and the 100m relay finals

Very quick good morning, busy day today, more so than normal.
Anyway, sorry to hear about all the (expensive) car trouble.
Sorry for your OH Hosta, not a nice feeling for him or you to have to console.
Big massive congratulations to Panda, great news and I wouldn't be surprised if you get offered the other one too now.
Have a good week-end all.
