Hi Fidget, I'm Doves daughter and just read your post, your oh brothers question isthe most stupid one...my hubby and I got married after 14 years together, ifanyone should tie the knot it's those that have proved they can make itwork already! And do it your own way! I worked in wedding dress shops and you can never please everyone so your better to please yourselves!
I hope your day is everything you and your oh want! Best wishes and best of luck
Glad I arrived in time to hold you upright Rb. He does look better when he smiles, though he's not got a lot to smile about. Dove, aren't you the lucky one.
Dentist was OK, he didn't suffer any pain at all. Just a clean and polish now I can smile as well.
We had hailstorms yesterday and wintery showers predicted for this afternoon so not much gardening getting done but I've done a lot of thinking about it
I must have missed a lot in my education but I've never had a Pimms.
Got out in the garden for a couple of hours around 9.30 but there was a nasty nip in the wind that nearly chased me back inside. Thankfully I had some rejigging to do and ended up removing two of my three extra layers when the sun came out, the wind disappeared and it got decidedly warmer.
It's all sunny now, very pleasant day although no more gardening for me since I have promised OH DIY help this week with the hallway
I always have a bottle in the cupboard and its my preferred choice of tipple, that or a good wine but the joy with Pimms in a pint glass is that you can make it as strong as you like, pub stuff is weak as s**t
Just remembered, I got a hand-me-down pressie off OH today.
It's one of those carry storage boxes since he just invested in a metal storage unit one wheels for all his tools and things.
My box is quite biggish really, very sturdy plastic with a handle so I'm putting all my stuff from the shed inside. You know, secateurs, string, clips, tape, knifes, staplegun, wires, tree ties, everything in one place and its not too heavy to take with my round the garden. Does anyone else use one of these around their garden?
I shall never again lose my scissors for half a day at a time

Morning all
Wonky, work often gets in the way of the garden
Esp when the nights start drawing in ....
Pimms sounds delightful Woody
Now doubly can't wait
Not quite sure what's on the cards for today, a friend asked if I was in town (I'm not) but that could mean a meet for lunch
Have a good day all
For those that might miss him . . . . . .
Just as well he's the double of my OH
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
