Well my knee cap is no longer where it should be - old injury that flares up. Just in time for a long week including a 10:30 (Saturday) til 18:00 (Sunday) sat at the museum (hope its not cold!)
Rest, apply the brace, drink cider (apples are good for you!) and hope Reggie doesn't realise he's not had a walk this evening. At least all my pots got a good watering on Saturday.
Clari - that's really hard luck. Hope you get through your busy week.
I can definitely recommend singing as a way of making you happy! Apparently it releases endorphins, making you feel good, reduces anxiety and depression, and increases the oxygen levels in the blood. (And it's fun too...)
Makes you tired though. Time for bed!
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
I would love a share of Poldark, but don't think OH would be happy and Poldark may think a 27 year old would be too old for him. So I'll stand back and admire from afar as though he were a beautiful painting.
We met some of my mother's cousins today and found that the daughter of one of them, my second cousin, used to live opposite OH's daughter.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Ooops, im in the dog house, ive just heard some young uns making a row in the street, (we have had a couple of trees broken in half which were planted by the council last year) so i spring out of bed uttering profanities and threats, woke OH up with all the shouting, by the time i got to the window there was no one there...i then got my hair stuck in the blind! Oh dear!
Clari, i hope your knee eases, that sounds sore x
Sorry to hear about the bad backs!
RB, you keep dieting, you wont fit in your cozzy
Sounds like you are having a good time BL
Sorry Liri, i think my singing would have the opposite effect on everyone else! but what a happy post, it seems to be working for you
Can this poldark bloke build a shed or summat? Whats all the fuss about? im going now before RB throws something at me
Morning Winter Another beautiful day dawning ....enjoy working in your little bit of paradise (can say that with conviction, having seen your pics on the other thread)
seem to have escaped the frost again - my pieris is still a-flaming
No singing endorphins here .....it might work for me, but others are less than appreciative of my efforts

Good morning all
Oh what a beautiful morning
. Didn't actually sing that as I take after my Mum, whose father told her she was a great singer before tunes came out
Something will get done in the garden today, not sure what yet. I must make a plan and stick to it.
Hope you've still got some hair left Bekkie
.
Fidget I can see you are really getting into party mode
. Quite fancy a night at Verdun's cabin. Perhaps we'll do it when Yvie's already there.
Have a good day everyone
