As of this morning just 1 male duck. I think he is the spurned male and the other 2 are probably nesting somewhere else, A ducks love life does seem very complicated though.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
For some reason the plumber thought we lived 25 miles away and couldn't find the road on his satnav . He's coming on Saturday instead. Fortunately I've got a long hose pipe so will it be OK to connect to your tap Beaus?
From the pictures you've shown us DD I don't think you have any need to worry
Enjoy your lovely weather lucky people who have it. Tomorrow is going to be nice here. Think I'll go for a wander around the shops this morning.
Morning all, glorious day here and two days of gardening to look forward to. Main job for the day is to prick out all the petunias.
Loads of new growth in the garden. I've only been at Firsborns a couple of days, it's just amazing how much things have changed. Lilac Madame Lemoine is full of flower buds and a lot of the new clematis are flowering even though they have only been planted a short time.
Secondborn is coming to tea today, she's on a diet after her trip to California so lean meat and salad is the order of the day.
Glad Flynn is feeling better Wintersong. Our Westies had a lot of tummy trouble until we found a food called Natures Diet, they did a range for sensative tummies and they were fine on that.
Agree with Wintersong DD. Don't be nervous it's your patch now and do it yoru way. (I also think you have lost weight)
Hi Punkdoc noseying in on your thread we had our yearly visit of three ducks(my grandchildren call 2 Bob s and a Cracker) possibly not the same ones but they look the same .She must have her chosen one further up dyke (stream) because we now have only Bobby no mates coming to the door for his wild bird food snack. A Couple of years ago she fledged her brood safely and paraded them through the garden before leaving, the rains last year destroyed her first clutch and I fear a predator took her next. That's nature for you. All the time Bobby is around she must be close by on a nest
You can connect to my tap anytime Lesley no probs Blooming pain in the rear when they can't find you! And why have to wait till Saturday now to try again!!!
DD I know exactly what you mean and how you feel about previous owner! The previous owner here was best mates with the neighbour and I dread ever bumping into her! I have completely changed all indoors and got rid of loads of her plants inclusive of a massive Montana that took one hell of a Bon fire once it took three days to cut down! Can't you un invite her?
Errrrm Punk doc what are you actUally doing pretending to be Christopher Lloyd? Dare I ask?!! Just saw pics of your garden on the gallery thread, blooming gorgeous

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

S.Yorkshire/Derbyshire border
Morning all!
26°?
If we get 12° today we will be doing well
Still, who wants to dig new borders in that kind of heat. Should probably take the tips of the holly shrubs if i want them to be bushes at some point.
Thank you Kef
Errm, Mrs Lloyd....
