Just back from SM, oops that was rather  costly trip image

Stopped raining but still  rather dull.

I missed Verduns joke too, i'll have a mooch back.

Winter your garden seems ahead of mine. My hostas are not even poking through yet. Hope they appear soon.

Nothing in leaf yet SGL re hostas, I had some in pots in a coldframe that are just breaking prolly due to the coldframe protection but also because they are shallow planted in a potimage

What's in the ground is still sleepingimage

    Hi folks  image

An unscheduled GC visit is coming up this afternoon  image  because I've just discovered the local U3A gardening group are meeting there at 1.30.  Now where's my shopping list?

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Its flippin cold! Who ordered cold???? Have even smothered oven pride allover the oven rather than go out...thats bad aint it! image

SGL, i only put a few in, had some from Lyn too, thought they would be lovely together, so mixed a few together and sprinkled them in a very gritty mix, they are in a tray down the bottom of the garden, i expect they will come through when they are good and ready! image, very kind of you to send them to me, it makes me smile whenever i look at any of the things i have been sent from the forum, such nice peeps image

Winter, your enthusiasm always brings a smile to my face image, keep that spare soil handy, the beds will settle by a good inch or two if mine are anything to go by image

Anyone else find random pots of things and have no recollection of doing it? Found a trug with peonies in the other day...not a clue where it came from! image

All the time bekkieimage.  There are a few pots of cuttings on the patio I took last year and have no idea what's what at the moment.  It will help when they get some leaves.

I had just finished off the housework by steam cleaning the utility room floor when I knocked a tray with eight pots of dahlia off the windowsillimage.  Only one fatality thank goodness but will have to see how the others respond to being stuffed back in the pots.

Looking forward to going to GC on Thursday (they are having a 20% off day) so I'll have to start my list.  Look forward to hearing what you arrive home with Liri and Winterimage

Have managed three loads of washing already, so i may not get in the garden, but at least weve got a clean oven and pants! image

Hi Susan, Beaus is fine, thanks for asking, she is still elbow deep in decorating and home decor! image

The air was a bit blue bekkieimage.  Didn't realise it had travelled as far as you thoughimage.   The first item on my GC list is a new pruning saw as I've broken the handle on the old one.
