    ???? YAY,

Morning all ,lovely week of weather predicted, eldest son is visiting and middle son coming over tomorrow to finally put my new pergola up. Then I can get on with some planting in that area although what I had planned long term may change since OH decided to treat himself to a man cave. I'm really happy for him to use the area as he doesn't often treat himself, ooooh about once every commet image

It's turning out to be a great day, dad just phoned and I am getting a lift to big GC this afternoon for plant shopping image

Flynn also gets to see his brother

    Morning all.

Frost overnight, but sunny now and warming up.

Plan to get rest of the Dahlias potted up today.

I grow 5 types of Cannas, although not sure what all of them are, as grown from half inched seed, obtained from garden visits. Grew Tropicana Black for first time last year, nice plant.

Ooops, all this talk about cannas and I've just realised mine are forgotten in a box in the garage. Wonder what I'll find.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Super day here even without full sunshine.

Been in the garden all morning, lining and filling my second hosta bed.

Realised that I didn't need to plant all three chunks of my divided Blue Angel since it gets as big as the bed itself, so I have two spare plants waiting to find their homes image

Also have loads of soil leftover even after filling one large raised bed and two smaller ones so that means more raised beds, more feature areas and more height in the garden, always a good thing image

Garden is looking more amazing everyday, I'm sure my geraniums are growing an inch a day whilst Clematis everywhere have buds or making leaps and spurts of growth

The birds are investigating our bird boxes, I think they are only practicing building nests but its a great start since they've not long been up!

I've read back mostly, missed Verdun's joke and KEF's story about 4 great danes but saw DD's garden photos. Really fantastic job and also BL, on this thread or maybe the other, your hard work is showing now and gardens are looking incredibleimage
