    Morningimage

Very dark and dank here, but not actually raining.  Have a trip to town to make first, and then plan to cut back my penstemmon and hydrangeas, and anything else still standing out there that I missed the first time round.

  • Morning!

It's lookin like rain here too, but then thats the east coast in April for you. Need to head into town with the family, then no doubt I'll spend the rest of the day looking at the garden through the rain.

Morning all, Dark and dull here, but no rain forecast today so hopefully I'll get in the garden.  Feeling a bit yuk today, ate fish and chips for tea last night as a treat.  Only eat them about twice a year and each time I feel lousy the day after, you would think I would learn.

    Morning all.

Very grey and misty here, but at least its dry.

Going to have a quick wizz round with the hoover, including stairs image...........not my fav job.

Then if it stays dry, i'll prune the hydrangas. Haven't done them yet because of frosts.

    Have a good day everyone.

  • Just had a quick look around my propagators and the first of my Borage seeds has popped its wee bonnet above the soil.

If you hadn't been up and about, Dove, I would think you were ill!

I'm usually up and about some time before coming here, but I'm not an early riser. I feed horses, dog, cat first and potter in the GH or garden before brekkies.

Thanks for good wishes, folks.  Bit tottery but definitely well enough to go to son's & DIL's, and be looked after for a couple of days...  image  though I think I might be abstaining from chocolate for a bit.  image

Found a nice surprise when I looked in the growhouse; a pot of red campion seeds, gathered from near my daughter's old house and sown last spring, has germinated.  image  Just shows it doesn't pay to be too tidy, and empty pots out too soon...

I don't expect to be able to get on the forum until mid-week so have a good time, folks!  image  Bye for now!

    Hello

Been up for ages now - had a walk, been shopping, checked GH- waiting for bacon sarny for lunch.

Going to do weeding this afternoon, feel quite good today but am so unfit not sure how much I'll be able to do.

No Easter choco here either but have suggested a trip to a GC next week - will see.
