    Morning all,

Was a beautiful and sunny end to a busy day yesterday, so I managed to dig some more post hole out and OH and myself measured them up to get them level.

Middle son was supposed to come today but the forecast is poor so we've postponed pergola erection until next week, there's no hurry to get it right.

Might get out later for some planting or mulching but got visitors today as well so...image

    Enjoy your days everyoneimage

    Good morning everyoneimage

Very cold and sleety this morning so nothing doing in the garden today.  Maybe more pricking out at the kitchen table.  Have to go to search for a birthday present for OH for next week as I'm going down south on Sunday.

Very pleased to hear your good news Matty.  It must be wonderful to be able to have a proper bath or shower againimage.

Enjoy the birdwatching trip Pdoc and hope you get some good photos to share with us.image

Hope everyone under the weather starts to improve very soon.  Thinking of you Dove.

Absolutely chucking it down here in North Essex, no chance of any gardening.

the little rill, is foaming with the run off from the farmers field, it runs into the pond so some lush algae expected soon.

Off to London , which I don't enjoy anymore, I now feel like an outsider, especially because I wear a suit, how things have changed.

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

    Raining here.

DDamsel, what is that bird? My mum would describe it as exotic. She says she has normal birds...sparrows and starlings, collared doves and the odd robin. We hardly ever see a sparrow, but I get the "exotics", great spotted woodpecker, various finches,  all  the tits except marshtit. We got very excited the first time a nuthatch turned up, it seems to be a regular now.
