Morning all! Hope I haven't missed anything . It looks beautiful today!
Dove - you mention first school books etc. One day when I was around 17 (and therefore wouldn't have had anywhere to put them if I tried) mother threw my childhood in the bin: books, certificates, school reports, arts and crafts I'd made. I'm assuming she probably did the same for my brother (he's her favourite so possibly not: I know all of his toys are still in the loft as the builder has been showered in action men a few times). I didn't know she was doing it until it was too late.
Why not wrap the box up and present it to them as a birthday gift? That way you look good for saving it, it's out of your hands, and they can deal with it!
Good morning 2C and bright here, slight frost on the green stuff.
Fidget I doubt many people had that occupation.
Pdoc garden planning room I like that idea, I did think you were going to say that you had turned it into a potting shed
Dove regarding offspring housing their own clutter it is only a few weeks since I gave my youngest sister (aged 45) her dolls that were still cluttering at mum's, plus a few things returned to brother (52) . Nothing of mine in the house In the shed?
Raining here too, so it's the last bookcase sorting day (well, for me - there's still one upstairs that OH is halfway through tackling. I shall be sorting out cookery and gardening books
KEF - have a lovely lunch with friend
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
My Mum is notorious for 'clearing the decks' which saw most of my things disappear the minute she thought I was too old for them. My Dad once made me stilts out of two cocoa tins with string to hold them on and the first thing I did was run in and say "look what Daddy made me. Please don't throw them away". I do still have my teddy though
Enjoy your lunch KEF.
Pdoc you can sit and plan how your planning room is going to work.
Sun pushing through, morning of tasks OH to Yoga shops for me, might just drop into the local Range see what they have in the hospital section if it stays fine a few hours in the garden this afternoon must take some pictures.
If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need.

Morning all,
It's raining but that's because I planted yesterday
The garden needs it so I get a restful morning before I have to clear room for deliveries and dig post holes
