    Good morning all image

Hope everyone's feeling better this morning - Lesley painful foot is horrid!  Have you thought about a quick appointment with a Scholl podiatrist - once upon I time I suddenly developed the most awful pain in my foot - turned out to be collapsed arch - the right support in my shoe brought about immediate bliss!!!   Apparently these things occur most often in the summer as people spend time in the garden bare-foot or in flat shoes.

Good morning Dove and those to surfaceimage

Overcast and 10c again though a dahlia has flowered and is a lovely warming colour.  I can pretend it's the sun.  Ah well I can't do much outside anyway.  That's a good idea Dove.  Pretty sure it's not a bite LilyP.

Wonder how Edd and Pdoc are getting on.  Adventurous people on this siteimage.

    Have a good day everyone.

    Morning all

Where has my week gone? Monday was full day gardening,  yesterday was shopping, then gardening, then my sons were all done to go out for middle one's birthday meal and today is a trek across town for my youngest college interview then rushing back in time for driving lessons, of course all this hiking would be faster and easier if I was driving now image

Oh well, it's keeping me fit considering I have no time for gym today

    Morning all.

Potting on my new agapanthus and hydrangea then it's weeding, and hopefully mulching for the rest of the day.

WW well done you and the very best of luck in your new job.

    Devon.

Spend gym membership money on plants, Wintersong. You'll get much more pleasure out of them.

I have very fine hair, straight as pump water. It won't take a perm. I only found one hairdresser who knew how to trim it, then he moved. I used a barber for many years, but he died. Now, when it gets so long that I can tuck it in my knickers, I take the big kitchen scissors and cut six inches off. For work, I put it up in a bun. For diving, I plait it. Most hairdressers just want to cut it to chin length, but it is so fine it would stand on end with static, unless i plaster it down with lacquer which makes my head itch.image

    Morning all.

My little horse, Lena, is going on loan today with a 16 year old French girl who loves her. Her stepmother is a horse trainer so Lena should be fine, but I'll miss her. All my riding friends have stopped riding (age) and I don't feel confident enough, with my arthritic bits, to go out on my own anymore.
