    Good morningimage

It was sunny when I was out but now rather dull.  Got to go to SM later to get supplies to take to SIL and family for lunch.  Will be going in son's car as ours was towed away to the garage on Friday with steering problemsimage.  Will be giving Mum a call in a while to say Happy Mothers Day.  I always feel sorry I can't be there but this year my cousin is taking them both out for a mealimage.

Hope you soon start to feel better Lizzie, it's one after the other for you at the moment. Also hope you catch up with some sleep Clari.

Thanks bekkieimage  I'm sure your Mum will love her lantern whatever you think of it. What a lovely OH you've gotimage

    Good Morning twice image

Great day yesterday - meal was lovely and company was lively - lots of laughs.  Waiters did the whole sing to Chicklet routine - much to her embarrassmentimage

Forecast is grey and misty, but I'm heading out there anyway - have nerines to pot up, lupins and a euphorbia to plant and some hellebores to feed.  And a special tree to pot on too.

    Morning all

Back home after a couple of days away. Hideous traffic jams around Stonehenge area so took 4 hours to drive home.

I took to the wheel for the first time in 7 weeks since " the knee". Really nervous at first ,but soon settled into it. Mercifully car is automatic , which helped.

Will venture out to unload all the plants which seem to have fallen into every nook and cranny of the car whilst we were away.

Enjoy Mother's Day all you Mothers / Grandmothers. x

    Devon.

I'm worried about Verdun sowing his seeds during the partial eclipse. Won't it be too dark to see?  image

    Morning all,

Bekkie, what exactly did you do last night? 50 quid on the nightstand!image

Had to pop to Ashwoods this morning to get mum a pressie, it was awful, you all know how much I hate going to GC.  Someone in there dropped a couple of Aubretias in my basket, didn't realise until after I had paid.image  One has lime green varigated foliage that is a bit wrinkly and the other has white and green varigated leaves and quite a large flower.  Very pretty. Must say they had some lovely Hellebores on sale, but I resisted, whish I hadn't nowimage.

Popped round to see mum and took her a little flower arrangement in a georgeous pot.  Bought her birthday one home so I can replant that for Easter.

BL I think the lurgie I had last year must have moved across country.  I became ill in November and didn't really feel well until April.  This year (touch wood) I've been much better, so perhaps it built up my immune system.

I've had a quick mouch round the garden lots coming up.  Quick question.  what do agastache blue boa look like when they are coming through and when do they usually begin to show?  Not shouting just put it in bold so it would stand out.  Haven't grown any before so don't really know what to look for.

    Happy mothers day everyone.
