    Gilly, just thank goodness she knew she could ring you. Poor lady, the last thing she needs or can cope with.

    Hope she can go and stay with her daughter, even if ceiling is in tact the damp won't do her any good.

    Half the cards written and shin of beef casserole in the oven, OH has gone to shop to buy some real ale for tonight and cider and cream for tomorrow (pork  chops in creamy cider and mustard sauce with leeks and potatoes Dauphinoise tomorrow).

    Now I shall sit on the sofa and knit image

    KEF,she is staying with her daughter for a few days and luckily is going away for Christmas.Friend has lent her a dehumidifier which will help dry things out quicker.

  • Carol concert for me tonight; no sauce as I am the driver. Looking forward to belting out a few favourites  image. Another choral concert parish church tomorrow after friend comes to lunch. Vegetarian, so fish on the menu.

    vegetarians don't eat fish WW. Some people that don't eat meat do eat fish though and you probably know your friend's preference
