Good Morning image.  I will mind my Ps and Qs in this post - and try my hardest to find the capital letters and full stops to put in the appropriate placesimage.

I was hoping to spend all weekend in the garden, so am hoping the drizzle clears away quickly.  200 snowdrops are sat on the doorstep, and they need to get in the ground.

The highlight of my week has been going for a "march" every lunchtime.  I have found some routes through some local houses, and it is amazing just how much is coming up in all the front gardens.....seems to change day by day. Particularly love the crocuses, and there is one full of hellebores that stopped me in my tracks image

Morning all. Slept 8 hours before needing the loo! (Unheard of since I was 51!) Then slept another 2.

Daughter with 3 sons, including the poorly one, (now responding well to antibiotics) has gone home. Other daughter still here until Monday. Her friend with 2 small sons is coming this afternoon.

Take care of yourself, Dove and other poorly ones.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    Afternoon all.

rare trip to gym this morning. Very embarrassing, new piece of equipment, a rolling staircase, and you guessed it I fell down them!!

Never mind only pride hurt, and a rather attractive girl came to ask whether I was all right.

Preparation starts now for the Cup Final, COYS.

    Enjoy your days.

Ouch pdocimage Glad only your pride was dentedimage

all my windowsill seeds have germinated nicelyimage Just moved them all off the heat and onto the self watering thingummy instead.  Only one that looks a bit sparse is my rudbeckia indian summer - my favourite on account of the fact that the deer leave it alone.  Waiting for a call back from the GC to see if they have seeds in stock to have a second go - if not it will be online.  Feel like my gardening year has now really got going.....am grinning happily to myselfimageimageimage

Hi all, Had a good morning in the garden. Have finally given in and sown some seeds.  Aquilegia Sweet Rainbow, Cleome White Queen, Ammi Majus and Cosmos Daydream are now happily residing in my propogator on the conservatory windowledge.  Also tied the new clematis in and gave all of the clematis a feed with bespoke clematis feed (never used it before so I'm hoping it will improve the display).  Also fed the Rhodos and the Azaeleas (spelling).  Finally I gave the shed a quick tidy and put all my gardening gloves on to wash.

Really feel like spring is on the way now  some of the seeds are in.  Still have more to sow but they will be  fine waiting until the middle/end of March after these have germinated.

Not much else plannned for the day, my new glasses are ready but don't really want to be bothered to go into town on a Saturday.

Hi from Kingswinford in the West Midlands

Dreary day here - cold and grey sky image Have no enthusiasm to do anything image My feet and hands are cold so might have to put the heating on.

Am pleased to read of seeds and new spring life - is very exciting imageAs we know, I am not a successful grower from seeds but reading about your successes does tempt me . . . . . but I don't have the fancy tools of the trade so I will have to wait image

Well, what a good day its been so far! Had a supprise parcel come from a friend, i loves presents image. No substitutions with the online grocery shop and have even managed to have a few hours in the garden, have filled three huge garden sacks full of rubbish! Have done my best to strengthen the greenhouse, moved the compost and a little table in there for now, lots more weeding to do, fingers crossed for dry days! image
