    Howling north wind tonight. OH is at choir, nearly an hour's drive home. I'm recording Wolf Hall so we can watch it together.

    Right start again , here goes ..........smother it in peppercorn sauce, oh will be too busy picking pepper bits out of his noshers to notice it's cooked a little over rare ....... that's my nu word for burnt. We had caramel- ised carrots for tea tonight!image

    Bet oh has eaten it by now and enjoyed it hasn't he ?image and is now telling you your such a brilliant cook !  image

  • In 16 and a bit years, ive never been congratulated on my cooking! Accused of giving him food poisining from time to time! Dont think it helps that i dont eat meat, so never really sure what its supposed to be like image, it came with a garlic bitter thingy, so im hoping that covered the tasteimage

  • I did put it in a hot pan BL, but didnt realise i had to turn the pan down until i read the instructions for a third time! I'll get the hang of it one day image

    Thinking of Verdun and his family today.

    Builder is arriving this morning to replaster the hall ceiling and start redecoration.  Expect chaos from now on!!!

    This evening OH and I are going to the theatre!!! to see comedian Count Arthur Strong image  We've not been 'out' for ages - it'll probably come as a shock to the system! image
