So much info' on here from yesterday I don't know where to start.
Good luck Panda. Dove hope the pain has eased. Fidget wow, busy lady, if I had a car I could drive I'd come for your curtains my dyson washer holds a winter duvet.
Better get my skates on and brace myself for the drive to collect my little car. Think I've turned into a wimp now I'm 27.
BFN
p.s Look forward to seeing you on the radio Verdun.
Good morning all Thanks for everyone's good wishes - I slept like an absolute log - knee feels a little achy and stiff but it's working and bending in the middle as it's supposed to
Yes, I shall take it easy today - OH is at work so anything that needs fetching and carrying, I shall be expecting you lot to lend a hand - anyone with paint on their shoes must take them off at the door
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Morning all. Dove I have said it before and I will say it again, alcohol works wonders on all painful conditions. Good luck at work 4th Panda.
I have noticed far too much swearing on this site recently. First all this mentioning of Christmas and card writing and now decorating. It is all too much for a delicate soul like me!
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
Site seems to be working for me today. Box for writing in has come up straight away.
Been busy recently. Have dug 50 Barrows of earth and manure from aroung the horse shelter and the path to the dung heap. Farmer delivered 6 tons of "castigne" which is a mix of limestone gravel, stones and powdered clay, from the quarry down the road. They use it a lot here for drives and forest paths. We have been spreading it out in front of the shelter and down the path. There is rock under the topsoil here. It doesn't look so much in the photo.
Am now really aching!
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Question - if helleboringbores only have leaves and no buds, should i still remove the leaves?
....
Mrs. Garden the buds and new leaves will come later. Remove the old leaves, then the new buds will be clearly visible when they come. Some flower around Christmas and others flower later, Lenten roses.

But I bet you're a lot fitter than I am BL - I was so fit when I had the smallholding and was doing physical stuff like that every day - then life changed and I went to work for CS - my muscles have changed to jelly - I used to be able to pitch a bale of straw on a pitch fork and haul and stack heavy hay bales............. I love doing physical work - I hate meaningless exercise in a gym
But I suppose it probably didn't do my knees much good the day the rotten Exmoor landed both his heels on both my knees
