Morning all. Frosty and -7° but it's melting in the sun. Taking Tigger dog to the vet this afternoon, he's still off his food and was sick in the night.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Re: growing season, my Sweet peas on the window sill, have germinated, to go with Autumn sown in the greenhouse, which were about 6 inches tall last time I ventured out there.
CBT later today, I am sure he will think I am making progress.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
Isnt it amazing that its still such a thrill to see seeds germinate, even when youve done it a million times! ...pricking out, im not so fond of, but you cant have it all!
I've saved some seeds for the first time this year and am on pins to get them going. No greenhouse but a cold frame so I'll have to pace myself. I check all seeds at least twice daily when they are about to emerge
I'm on a lot this morning as the three men in the household watched Super Bowl last night Trying to be quiet in case they get up
Thats sounds bad Lyn! For those of us who only visit your part of the world in the summer, its hard to imagine it snowy, stay warm
Verdun, i was a complaints handler for 8 years, totally agree with you ..but only if you have a valid complaint of course
Lesley, i often use those clear plastic bin bags for make shift cloches, brought sweet peas on in them a few years ago through winter, the polystyrene boxes from the pharmacy are fab too
Am trying to do the bio dynamic thing this year, no idea how it works, but it worked when i had my allotments, so my first sowing will be on the 6th

Lizzie I hope the vet can help Tigger. People who don't/can't have pets are puzzled by our bonds but they really are part of the family.
Bekkie hope George is feeling slightly better today.
