You remember the ' senior moments thread ? ' well round about the time that was going and the laughs from it , my mum had her appointment from the clinic. And as a dutiful daughter I went with her , bad idea ............
but me they suggested that I see MY doctor for a referal
As.......
While I was waiting for her in the waiting room I was asked to fill in a questionnaire about my mum , filled in ,
Ok that's fine , but my mum , they were just asking her the same questions verbally, I was puzzled why they thought I needed to go ,admitted I'm over sixty but didn't think I was that bad .
A few days later I was still puzzled and had started to question myself . Bringing up this with my mum she admitted that if there was a question she couldn't remember like the last time she went to the supermarket she had told them this morning and that I had taken her in the car . Because knowing that they ask again she thought she would remember ( it being fresh in her mind !!!!)
Best thing is I don't drive , we get her shopping but she does her list !
Will do Granma! (You do promise to tell me when to stop don't you? I can get carried away!)
-2'C outside right now, so the museum wont be much warmer! Cold has hit the "niagra falls" stage: Perfect for 95 students visiting today. Still I'm booking some time off this week to get off to a proper bonding with Reggie so hopefully we'll be in the warm lots. (Hopefully getting him tomorrow).
Stupidly cold here this morning, but got a little robin singing his little heart out...made it worth putting the bin out
George was up at 1am then 3 til 4 am! I fed and medicated him, reduced his meds a little, im hoping that will stop him being so hungry and waking up, as i dont think my neighbours were to impressed with the foul language shouted up the garden to get him to come in at stupid o'clock...sorry neighbours!
Gran, im pretty sure you are still with it, youre right about these old uns, my nan could run rings around me!
Clarington, im looking forward to hearing about Reggie too
