Clari, I think you will probably be in for a few more colds and bugs. I can't remember if you worked with children before, but if not you will need to build up resistance to their germs. All my family (except me) work in schools and the stream of colds is endless, especially at the start of the Autumn term. Hope you had all the measles, mumps etc.
My OH did his own breakfast this morning- protien shake, 2 narnas and milky bar yoghurt thingys! If he cant open the pack and eat, he wont have it! So yes you ladies are very lucky!
PP, looking at that face, i dont believe he did rip up his bed, it must have been someone fitting him up!
Yeah whatever Panda, we know youve got your binoculars out
Doubt the bed of thalia narssius will do any good this year, not now george has found out its easier to walk down the sloping flowerbed than the steps! The sacrifices we make eh!
Meningitis, yup had that t shirt - measles and mumps I'm hoping I'm vaccinated against! I thought I was but I remember being ill and not being allowed one jab at secondary school... I assume I had it later but now I'm not sure.
Guess I'll be calling the doctors in the morning! I'm going to research vitamin supplements: with my long term digestion issues I'm aware I'm probably not absorbing everything I should be which might not help my immune system keep at its best. The pamphlets they give you at the hospital do mention it as a possibility but of course don't suggest what to do.
Pottie your german looked adorable! I'm just playing the "hide anything we care about game". As we have no idea how well house trained Reggie is (if at all) we're considering everything fair chew toy / poop spot. Though at the moment his new crate is looking the most comfortable spot of the house!
Sounds like youve got it sussed with Reggie Clari he will think all his birthdays have come at once! . Let me know if you want me to ask OH abou the vit issue
Pleased to hear the children were well behaved Panda. It's not your fault Andy lost because oh says he only loses the Australian final when he's watching so he went to church. Still didn't help though
Your dog looks lovely Pam
Yvie - you're so lucky. Oh told me that when he retired he'd start making all different soups. That was 4 years ago and whenever he's made soup it's been out of a tin
Clari, shame you've got another cold. Hope getting Reggie home will perk you up
Shame I can't quote but when Bekkie said 'Dove I think it's rude to watch that sort of thing ......' It reminded me of my Dad who always flaps the curtains whenever the woodpigeons are getting frisky on the patio and if that doesn't work he bangs on the window. Don't know how I got to be here
Just been to see mum, she was in a bad mood because she had received a letter from the clinic asking her to attend for a test to check for dementia as an early diagnosis is beneficial. She insisted on knowing who told them she was senile, anyone would think I'm past fit. She's 93 in a fortnight
No weeding got done here, declared myself a wimp lovely bright day but the wind that wasn't there at 9am is bitterly cold, tonight we are told to expect the coldest night so far -5C and zero during daylight tomorrow.
Lesley LOL
Clari I hope both you and Panda get rid of your colds soon, I've had a drippy nose and salty lips and mouth for a month now, the cold weather doesn't suit KEF
Hosta I thought Hosta was a lady...soz if you are a bloke
Lamb on menu but not two kilos, extra virgin olive oil is lovely I could eat it
RB, I've got Chantily, its white and flowers from June to October. Also bought one called Prince George last year thats supposedto flower for the same time.

Runnybeak - what about HF Young http://www.taylorsclematis.co.uk/clematis-h.f.young.html - I've got one and it flowers it's socks off for me even on a north-facing fence
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
