That would be a lovely thing to do Grandma, despite the heartache, you could give a lot to a poorly dog
Kef, i took your advice and got some extra virgin olive oil, very nice thank you
Need to ask another stupid question, sorry. OH brought some coconut oil stuff, looks like goose fat, was really pricey and has sat in the draw for the better part of 12 months....will it taste of coconut? And if it does, what the heck do i use it for? Heeeelp
Afternoon all. Thanks for your support for Reggie! He's from the German Shepherd Dog Rescue (I found them online). I've fallen with another cold (aagh!!) So am trying to prepare the house for his arrival between laying on the sofa feeling sorry for myself.
Snow is melting here. A few bulbs are poking their heads up. Is Spring on the way?
The birds certainly think that spring's on the way Clari - all sorts of Woodpigeon shenanigans going on out there this lunchtime, plus Mr and Mrs Blackbird and Mr and Mrs Bluetit very obviously paired up.
By the way, if Hostafan's about - just wanted to wish him and his OH a lovely holiday - hope his gammy knee doesn't stop them having a fantastic time. Don't worry about your garden, we'll keep an eye on it for you
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Cheers Edd , himself brought it because it has some sort of specific health benefit or gets absobed in a certain way...no thought of if he can fry an egg with it!
Aw PP you could forgive him anything. I'm gonna make you really jealous now, cos he even does the clearing away. Mind you I do have to go in after him and degrease the kitchen, but then, you can't have everything and don't forget he doesn't have to do the garden.
I'd like to apologise to the tennis fans, AM was winning till I came home oops!
Clari, feel your cold pain - they are no fun
My Daffs think it's spring, but my snowdrops don't I have seen a few doves getting fresh but that's it so far . . . . and no I am not sitting outside a certain forum members house with binoculars and infrared glasses
My OH retired and now does most of cooking, washing up - I do the odd roast we have and of course bake the cakes
When I was very sickly pregnant (most of the 9 months each time) I was told to have arrowroot biscuits - certainly helped.
Can't think of a clematis, too busy trying to get my head around annuals and plugs etc which I don't usually do. Anyone use Brookside nurseries? Comments?

My German Shepherd when he was a few months old. 'It wasn't me who tore my bed up'. I wish I could have those days back!
