Lesley - yes, the 3-year-old has decided she wants to live in Ireland "for ever and ever" - I think living half a mile from the sea is a big draw! The little one is just happy anywhere Mum is, but has celebrated the move by sleeping through the night for the last two nights, so maybe she likes it too...
KEF, thank you. I wasn't looking forward to visiting Mum after a week away, because she was very confused following a urinary infection when I last saw her. But she was really pleased to see me, recognised me at once, and we spent a calm and happy time together. Ok, she's nearly 94 and her Alzheimers is progressing, but I treasure the good times...
We have snow lying here but road conditions aren't too bad in the valleys. Keep safe, folks!
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Thanks for that Clari, he never used to be fat, its only been the combination of poor mobility and the steroids, he wont work for anything, he knows he will get fed- I have to feed him with each dose of medication. As for veggies...no chance unless its peas, he even turns his nose up at spuds that have been rosted with beef! He is totally different to the other lab we had who would eat apples, carrots, anything really! Have just given him a handful of dry food swiftly followed by a drink so it swells up
Evening all gosh you've all been gossipping like mad
Have been out this evening with some chums, a belated birthday for one and an early birthday for the other. We had a blind voucher for the restaurant, which had to remain unopened until it came time for the bill. At this point we could have had either free drinks, 25% off our food, 50% off our food or all of our food for free We got free drinks Food was jolly jolly good too.
Its only 6 days ish BM , just like when you do an extra couple of shifts , it will give you plenty of time to un pack, get sorted and take lots of pics for us
Best wishes x
Stay safe in that snow SGL, i hope it dosent get too bad
