Frosty here today and wintry showers forecast later
Today is the last big push of packing! And the focus is on getting all the garden stuff through the house and out the front ready for men to load tomorrow
Please all keep safe and warm who have the snow
Hopefully will get on later to see what you all have been upto xx
Good morning all. Good luck with the move Beaus Mum.
Raining. Going to the garage for minor repair to car, then to tractor lawnmower place to decide what to do about tractor lawnmower which needs new blade housing and it's old and they aren't made anymore for that model.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
About 4 inches of snow, and coming down heavily, lane on which we live has a steep hill, so is impassable. OH set of to walk to find where the buses were able to run. If it were me I would have stayed in bed.
Stay safe everyone.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
Raining persistantly here, has been since about noon yesterday - yucky.
Shadow has been walked, although naughty dog surprised a poor deer in the woods & shot off after it, disappeared for about 10 minutes - I was not impressed, don't suppose the poor deer was either. Whilst I was wet topped up all the logs & 'twiglets' as OH calls them, he is back tonight, don't want him to think I have been slacking.
All the bird feeders topped up too, bought some new fat balls yesterday with the netting already removed, unfortunately the birds don't seem that interested, the new seed does look more interesting than normal so perhaps they are eating the good stuff first.
OH is in East Midlands but says he didn't feel the earthquake at all, methinks he had a sneaky couple of beers and was asleep.
Good luck with the move tomorrow BM, sounds like you are the kind of girl that will have everything unpacked and ship shape by close of play tomorrow.
Hope the snow doesn't cause too many problems for those that have it - perhaps Leslie will come & sort you all out in her wellies.
Off to college for lunch for the English practice for students, then straight after into the shop with volunteer duties followed by airport duty. Luckily Charlie taken care of, at a friends after school, so at least no cooking duties to squeeze in.
Good day to all, take care.

Nice to be back after a very busy 10 days helping daughter and family move to Galway. They're in a rented house for a year, while they decide on the best place to live (proximity to schools & work is important), so they won't be doing a lot of gardening for the next 12 months, other than keeping things tidy. It looks as if they'll be buying at a very good time. Property is ridiculously cheap at the moment, less than half of what it would have cost around 2007, and there are lots of bargains to be had - many of them on good-sized plots of land. You have to feel sorry for the poor sellers though...
Back home to snowdrops. Lovely!
I've done a selective "catch-up" on the forum and seen Beaus Mum's photos of the new garden. Looks wonderful! Good luck with the move - you'll soon be there...
Dove, my OH was born in Bradford and is a life-long Bradford City season ticket holder... Nuff said I think
Right. Must brave the snow and visit Mum.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
No snow here, although the sky does look full of it. Correction, it's just started. No gardening for me. Feel a bit shattered anyway after two days on Nanna Duty, so I think I need to do something mindless - good job I recorded Midsommer Murders.
Glad you are back safe and sound Liri. Just think of all those lovely long weekends you'll be able to have.
Hope everything goes smoothly tomorrow BM, I always think it's easier to unpack than pack. I hope they've cleaned as hard as you have.

Snowing even harder now, must be a good 6 inches now.
This could be seriously bad news for the credit card, as I sit here looking at the on line plant catalogues,
Won't be any gardening for a few days here.
Keep warm and safe.

no snow here, some hails storms and rain.
Knee still playing up so no chance of any gardening type duties.
OH has asked me to put music onto his iPod. He paid £160 for it on 8/8/11 and it's been in the box ever since.
