Breck's catalog just arrived in the mail and their prices are out of this world, and they blow up the photos to make a 1 inch bloom look like a 4 inch bloom. Some one posted that spring has arrived, you lucky people,at one time I did not like winter but I have changed I now hate winter. Our planting date for annuals May 24th.
Hi Bill you appeared after I posted. Catalogues are devil's for misinterpreting things to get us spending Here in S.Yorks we don't plant annuals much earlier than you, I've known frost during first week of May.
Sooooo cold out! Bird feeders stocked & I bought the propagator in from the shed to clean - being very good & not sowing yet though (Chillies will be first out). KEF I put some chilli willies in an envelope for you but I really can't remember if it made it to the post office! I'll try and have a dig around and see if I can find them!
@LesleyK, he got his chance about half hr after I posted. He's such a good little fella too because I was busy with dinner for OH and just let him out the back and off he trots, does his sniffing and his business and trots back a happy chap so I gave him a treat (the back is fully fenced and hole-proofed)
Just had a walk around the garden with Flynn tonight and its stopped raining, its still windy though not as bad, and the sky is clear so I've fleeced all my newly purchased plants (can't trust what protection they've had before) and those that have a delicate constitution such as my Echeverias and Lavenders.

Evening all, from a cold and snowing [ on and off ] Sheffield.
Decided to spend the afternoon viewing pornography [ of the plant kind ] and now have lots of ideas, if I ever get the preparations done.
KEF do you have a Rhino greenhouse, and if so what sort of base do you have?
I am ever hopeful of getting the permission to get a new one.
Anyway this is not getting tea cooked, so have a good evening everyone.

There we go... everyone is happy
I had loads of witty comments following all of your posts but my brain has somewhat emptied so you'll just have to put up with a 'hi all'
