Ooops, I sneaked some milk in my coffee. Seriously, HOW do you do a fast day, how often, what di you do on none fast days, just pig out or stay sennsible????
Morning workers, and those laid off, and lazy like me
Had a covering of snow but it has now gone, 5C cloudy and looking like rain.
Feel tired this morning it must be due to the running from window to window wailing about the snow.
Need to do a SM shop, maybe tomorrow as I imagine it'll be busy today with people stock piling and buying snow shovels and sledges.
I used to travel by train some years ago and I found in the summer the heating was on and in winter it wasn't. At rush times two carriages and at quiet times three. Don't suppose it will long before we have the wrong snow on the tracks.
Mrs G - on non fast days we eat fairly normally, although I always try to keep fairly low on carbs as they make me feel slow and sluggish. However, as OH is as slim as a whip and has a high metabolism I have to stoke him with carbs regularly otherwise he looks pale and wan -

I don't make cakes so I'll do the soup. Got some nice leeks in the garden..so it will be leek & potato with a good shake of cayenne pepper.
