I quickly learnt when I joined this forum Supernoodle that most gardeners are barking LOL!! We also like to share lots of coffee, cake and the occasional wine (and whine!!). No probs from me with your rant, we all have them. You may have seen some of my posts re T&M, less than impressed at the moment, if my seeds don't arrive tomorrow I'm going to phone up and complain!!!
Thanks for the welcome to Forkers a few days ago, i've been staying with an elderly relative who isnt well, who doesn't have internet, I live near the pie eating capital of Britain who are also the FA Cup and Rugby League Challenge cup holders, not to mention our famous pier! I do get around our green and pleasant land for hols and short breaks, beautiful Dorset last year, and we arnt that far from the Lake District, my second home. Just going for a ride out to Blackpool calling at a large garden centre near there as I have a gift voucher for £50 to spend but have been told to get something for the house, as opposed to garden, we'll see! I really don't have any room left for more plants, it isnt a large garden. I have seen u have a hydrangea thread, ive got about 6, i'll look that thread up. Anyone visited Holehird gardens in Lake District? often visit it.
PS my yellowing lawn is a dark green now, started to improve after forking it. I'll prob put more questions on if my apple tree doesn't improve
I'll have to wave up at the office windows next time I'm in the city Supernoodle, then you can rush out and stop me buying pairs of shoes in one day again - once is enough
Fg, not plum coloured, the trainers and sandals are dark aqua - to match the newly painted garden fence, the heeled peeptoes are Cornflower blue, to match my eyes
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Dove, I may end up in the shoe shop with you so that'd be a bit dangerous! Would like some Hotter shoes though. Don't laugh but I get really sore feet gardening. Not blisters, just the pressure on the bottom of my feet. Perhaps should try some sort of cushion insole. I've got cheap wellies - off Norwich market! - so suspect limited cushioning. What a softie I am!!!

It may be sunny SuperNoodle, but it's chilly outside here in Norfolk!!! Are you in a warm office in the city?
Anyway, as it says, everyone's welcome to chat on this thread - only requirement - being a slightly batty gardener

'Batty' Dove, LOL....I've not heard that word for ages
Afternoon all. Just in for lunch.
Did you buy dusky plum coloured shoes then Dove, and can we expect Verdi to get some bright yellow shorts or trousers?
I dispute the assumption that we're all barking...my bite's definitely worse...
Clearing up a bit now so might get rest of grass done later. We're used to wet springs here but this is taking the you- know- what
Off for a look round before I go back to work.
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Yes, Dove, in the city centre looking out the window at blue sky and sunshine glinting off the concrete....

Not far from me Crazyflower
Are you off to Barton Grange by any chance or Dobbies? If not BG then it's worth a visit
Wrap up warm in that seafront, the sun is deceiving today
And wave as you pass
Supernoodle, which City?
Hey Orchard Lady, am in good ole Norwich.

Think it's the one near me
Have a lovely shopping trip Crazyflower
