Good to get that corner behind you OL image

Another decision made - too hot to stand in front of hot BBQ  - sausages now in oven, ciabatta will be toasted, vinaigrette made salad to be cut from garden shortly, beer and Campari in fridge, parasol up on terrace.image

Talking about our pond - I've just been laying on the grass peering into the shallow depths and have seen a middle sized Common pond snail and a couple of tiny Ramshorn snails image  I suppose they probably arrived as eggs on some of the plants , although the larger one must have grown pretty quickly if it was an egg this spring image  Isnt Nature amazing image

Verdun, I think it's a good idea to take mum out - a friend who's mum was in a similar situation did the same thing, taking her on some of their regular outings and returning her to the hospital in the evening.  As you suggest, it really helped to give her some sense of normality and she was able to put things into context, and now that she's back in familiar surroundings she really is much less confused than she had been after previous hospital stays.

I know hospitals often aren't very keen, as for them it blurs who's responsible if anything goes wrong, but they're going to have to put patient welfare first and learn to be a bit flexible and adaptable.

Hope she can soon be settled back at home ((hugs)) image

Lily, I'll go out and take some photos ..............................

Lily, I'm sure there is a law about working when it's too hot. When I worked in a well known bank and the air con went they had to bring in big industrial fans because as trade union rep I researched and told them they couldn't make us work image I can't believe I actually did that now!!

Hugs Verdun, it can't be easy for you.  I hope your mum is home soon and all works out well.

May be wrong OL, but think theres one if its below a certain temp, but not if it too high. The temp at work today was 94!  I felt rather yuk, and muzzy.
