I've always wanted Everest Woody. I'm sure you can spare one can't you? Pretty please
You could get a pair of braces for your jeans BL
Sorry KEF - never thought of that and no, I didn't wash them Pauline - no room in the machine
LP- I don't think a one off treatment would do much for my back - maybe about twenty
Glad the finger's a bit better MrsG. It's weird when the nail comes off though isn't it?
I'm with you Forester - bananas have to be green for me. I used to work with someone who called them 'giraffey' when they started to get really yellow with the brown spotty markings. Very apt!
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Wow! Just been asking Mr Google about it - seems it was a lot more serious than I thought - 5 people died in Santa Cruz. We were at the other end of the island and it was bad enough there.
In reply about back ache, gentle exercise is very good [ + alcohol ! ]
The Polar bear thing is right, the gun is really to scare them. Talking to the expedition leader, he has never had to shoot at a bear in 10 years visiting the Arctic. Just as well with my shooting incompetence.
Strange night out with a couple of colleagues. They cannot get their heads around the mental illness thing, I think they thought I was making it up: and they are doctors. Can't say I enjoyed the evening.
Have a lovely day everyone.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Have to say Pdoc wouldn't want to be their patient. Luckily I have a GP who is very 'on the ball' re mental illness. I've suffered from depression since I was a teenager and it was years before I accepted that it was an illness and not something to be ashamed of. My treatment plan is great now and I don't have any real symptoms. I still get fed up occasionally like everyone else but I dont get depressed.
Somehow Ive missed how Verdun's pants got into our discussions but I don't think I want to read back and find out why, especially when we are still talking about Clari. Is there something more dramatic that Ive missed.
Can't stand unripe bananas, they have no taste. Bright yellow with no brown bits, that's the best way to eat them, I do remove the stringy bits however and the hard brown bit you sometimes get at the end. Now I can't remember why on earth we are talking about bananas.
