We checked this out in my (ex) office, there is a recommended minimum, but there are no legal min or max temperatures for work in the UK, but it is recommended that the temperature is comfortable to work in https://www.gov.uk/workplace-temperatures.
However I pointed out to managers that it is illegal to transport cattle in temperatures of over 30C, and they took my point and sent me out to purchase large fans.

Edd, waa making faces at flying ants . . and then smiling coz I have one more day at work before 2 weeks of holiday (whoopee). (My office does have air conditioning though). Clari has been made redundant, and Lily handed in her notice and has almost 3 weeks left before she is free of her salt mine
Thanks Lesley Knowing my luck it'll drag it's knuckles for half the day and then whip itself into frenzy as I discover that I've more things outstanding than I thought I had!
Ha ha Edd I'm fine, we (OH and I) are looking at changed but I will most definitely still be working
Clari lost her job, which I still can't decide if it was a good thing or not and wish she could find her dream job, Panda is just having holibobs and Lily is 'retiring' and being a lady of leisure. As far as I know we are all ok and it's so nice if you to care about us

You're right Lily, just TUC guidelines, it was a while ago though and that must have done the trick

Make sense?

When the temp hits 30C at work I send the delivery driver out to collect ice creams for everyone. Paid for out of the tea fund.
Me finishing work Edd?? In my dreams
Only for a holiday in 6 weeks if that's what you meant

If you can make any sense of what's going on on this thread Edd you are doing very well
Your son is gorgeous
Hope tomorrow flies by for you Panda
Thanks Lesley
