Clarington its a strange year and i have seen far to many (natural lady bugs out so soon up north. this year). Let mother Dove do her work.

Morning Edd! How was Peppa Pig? Yes I've seen many lady birds here (S. Yorkshire)  so I'm hoping they find quite the feast that awaits them as I always get nervous of using washes on plants ( even if they are just for decoration). Shows me I mustn't get complacent just because the flower beds aren't ready - the pots still need attention!

Look forward to your pallet creations!

Thank you Chicky, I'm feeling stronger today.

Dove is probably trying to work out which pair of shoes to wear - now that she has ambitions to be the Posh Spice of the gardening world.  Next thing we know she'll be wearing her zips inside out ......image

Morning all. Sat outside GC wondering if its too early to go in. Lots of posts to comment on but can't quite remember what, edds chair sounds fab, who's Imelda? Where dove off to now? Hidcote not seen yet. Troubled workers have a good day.

Sneaked kef away from her garden yesterday and went to botanical gardens, lots of interesting plants especially tree ferns inside the glass house. Embarrasingly never found the weigelas, of which I've just been given a new one. Had a quick look round each others gardens, oohed and ahhhed at kefs fab plants and tidy GHs.

All followed by friends for tea, well more family really. They arrived as I was setting up replacement fish tank, OH catching fish, me syphoning water and insisting it goes in buckets outside ready for watering garden! Ended up with fish n chips from chippy ( not tank!), I know how to treat my guests!

    Have a good day all.

    Morning all.

Going riding with a friend. Then seeing other friends who have a holiday home here and staying for dinner. Not much time to garden or be here today!

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
