Morning all. Little layer of snow here but not sure if it will stay, although more is forecast. I now have a working boiler, but it's not on. The higher pressure popped one of the connections under the bath when I started the clean up after man went away - so I had a flood instead to mop up. image He's coming back this morning to fix it. It could be worse though - glass half full...well it certainly was when I held it under the light fittings in the kitchen....image

We had a resident blackbird at a previous house and he was around all the time. He was called 'squinty beak' , for obvious reasons,  so he did have a bit of difficulty eating - had to put his head down sideways on the ground.

Doesn't bear thinking about KEF - they'd be  little hobbity winged creatures image

The heating was on for about half an hour while I cleaned, and I had to turn one of the lounge ones off it was so hot! Huge difference. Just as well as I believe it's to be very cold this weekend. I might have it on full blast and wear a t shirt just for the hell of it.

    I'm easily pleased image

  • Morning all,

Dog walked, small child in school, SM shopping done, (grrww, I hate doing it) and now finally on my morning coffee. image

No feeding of sheep or cows here but a complicated routine in the morning feeding dog & cat, one in, one out & then swap around, all with small child prancing around asking for extra juice or brioche. OH got a bit of an ear bashing this morning, he has taken to hiding under the duvet with his tablet reading the news until all the chaos is over - told him wouldn't be quite so complicated if he actually helped. image

Bit wet today so might start reading the instructions on all my seed packets, calm me down a bit. image

    Good day to all. image

Morning all, I really hate doing this, it is sunny and bright yes again no ice temp 4c and the Hills once more a golden glow. Now look I do not want you all packing and rushing up to this industrial heart land, which in actuality is well hidden and compensated with the lovely coast moors hills and forests, you will need a passport and a gun as we at times need to keep those Scot's in their place.

That is my girl Fairygirl look back in anger look forward with hope, my glass is always on the up, no point in crying over spilt milk so get on with it. I will start reading seed packets after we have had our turn at winter usually Feb, March.

Lunch today with daughter getting ready for a world cruise by the time they set off they will be too tired organising things to go and will need a month to recover. She wanted me to go, done that we called them troop ships.

    Frank.

    Morning all.

Interesting about cows, I used to have Jersey house cows, I milked by hand.

Hope to do some gardening today if it doesn't rain. Going to dinner with son and DIL tonight, he lives in local town.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
