Morning all! Its sunny here too! Yippee!

I was so fed up with the rain yesterday that I found an app on my tablet where you can draw on your photos..... So I drew a sun, blue sky and lots of flowers in bloom! Does it count on the pictures of my garden thread?! image

RB, that eye of yours sounds agony! Hope you are raecovering swiftly!

LP, glad all your family are packed up and winging their way a bit closer to you image

    Good morning Wonky image

    Brilliant news LP image

I though today would be all gardening, but I've found other things that also have to be done. image Washing's in the machine, chicken in slow cooker for pie filling, now I'd better get showered and dressed and head off to the Polling Station .......... then a cooking and gardening day beckons - once I've tidied up in here and found a bit of paperwork I'll need for Ma next week ......... think today is going to be busy ... image

quick question, what is the thing called that you put on top of a post then bang it in with sledge hammer please? image

A piece of wood usually does the trick or you can hire a propper post rammer.

My little Astrantias are turning into gorgeous little plants, thank you for the seeds you sent me.image

After mooching through the garden I have a worry about clematis wilt, Josephine is looking tarnished on her westerly side but then we've just had two days of gusty winds so I guess it could just be windburn?

    Any advice welcome image

I'm expecting a colour laser printer from John Lewis

    Printer ink from someone else.

And a wedgwood tazza from ebay.

The Hermes lady knows to leave it behind the dustbin and shove a note through the letter box. Yodel only seem to employ men who speak no English beyond "sign here" The Post office take it straight back and leave a note for us to pick it up at the sorting office. They've done that even when I have been in the house.

Printer and ink is because I've looked at the cost of wedding invitations, and its cheaper to buy a new printer and print our own, than order them ready printed.

OH has designed an invite with a picture of the fairy and dandelion clock on, from Trentham Gardens. Its called "wishes can come true." He's a bit of a romantic really.image

Good morning, gosh what a lot of pages got through this morning already. image

Glad all family and pets got on the plane at last, hope the stress will soon be over and they can settle into their new life. image

    How romantic Fidget. image

Hosta, hope your knee feels OK today.

I have to finish the mountain (well now only a hillock) of i*****g and then the rest of the day in the garden, need to get stuff out of the the GH and weather forecast is looking good for next week so taking my chances.

Guests arriving tomorrow and they want dinner, Saturday going to a flower festival, airport duty Monday and houseful of guests next week so feeling the pressure of time, today feels like my last free day for a while.image

Shadow had his first training session too, went ok, he was a bit put out at first but seemed to accept the rules by the end. image

Good day to you all. image

We did some wedding invites at work for various friends or relations as they were much cheaper. All hot foil printed etc. They looked nice.

Glad you're loving it BM. I change my mind constantly about designs as well - think many of us are the same! No further forward with extension...my fault really. I keep ignoring it, although the builder hasn't contacted me either....image

Can't help you on the 'wilt' thing W'song - never experienced it. Wind damage sounds feasible though. I often worry about new foliage as it can look a bit brown at times but seems to suddenly recover. Hopefully you won't have an issue.

Right I'm off out - may go to nursery later...I knew I shouldn't have come back on here - it's bad for the bank balance image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
