imageVerdun.  Did you need new trainers so you can run faster to the next bargain?   I wish I'd  thought of getting a 2014 calendar.  All you have to do is change all the days or datesimage

I hope your hand is feeling a bit better now lily.  Delegate, delegate, delegateimage

Lovely chooks Archie - you must have been a good boyimage

Sorry to hear about wind damage MrsG and everyone else who has suffered this unending storm.  It is slightly less windy here now but it keeps trying to snow and is barely touching 2 degrees. Hate to speak too soon but at least we still have power.

Our thoughts will be with you tomorrow Lizzie xx.

Same here Lizzie - with you all the way.

  • Slept for a couple of hours this afternoon, woke up after a very deep sleep and felt really muzzy.  Still  achy but I'm ok.

Yes please Archie, happy to help celebrate your return.

I'll be with you in spirit tomorrow Lizzie.

I've decided to brighten up the back of the garden by planting a cherry tree in front of the boring lleylandi.  Ive decided on 'Amanogawa' as I dont want too much shade.  I think if I plant it forward enough it should get enough water and its a good sunny site so it should be OK.

Also decided to cut down the size of the lawn so I can get more plants in.  Thinking of lilac. Haven't decided what else to go for.

Off to have a quick look round
