    Morning all.

Been outside with torch, and the water level in the stream has dropped a lot over night, so things looking good.

Just waiting for the next gales.

    Have a good day everyone.

Hurrah! Pdoc - but keep those wellie boots handy!  The gales look as if they're going to be much worse in the northwest - but that being said we're travelling back from London late on Saturday night and apparently the last part of the journey is going to be by bus - if there are any branches down we may well be out all night! image

Glad your water levels have dropped pdoc and hope the worst of the weather misses you.  It's blowing a hoolie outside at the moment as LilyP said and the dog is in no hurry for her walk.  Their tanks get bigger as they get older Wintersongimage

Love them Dove, want them, need them, must have them!

WOW! Just been wading in the stream, removing the debris, that comes off the moor, during heavy rainfall. I turned over a rock to remove a bit of black plastic, and I found a fresh water Crayfish [ American Signal type sadly], but still amazing.

We have so much life in the stream, which is remarkable considering that in the 1960s, it was regarded as too polluted to contain any life.

    Isn't nature amazing.
