Hurrah! Pdoc - but keep those wellie boots handy! The gales look as if they're going to be much worse in the northwest - but that being said we're travelling back from London late on Saturday night and apparently the last part of the journey is going to be by bus - if there are any branches down we may well be out all night!

Glad your water levels have dropped pdoc and hope the worst of the weather misses you. It's blowing a hoolie outside at the moment as LilyP said and the dog is in no hurry for her walk. Their tanks get bigger as they get older Wintersong
I hope everyone with bad weather will be ok, no plastic greenhouses for Punkdoc then.
I will look at my pm's later, I have a few to catch up with, please fodgive me for not replying if I have missed you out, and I am going to try to write emails to my two dearest GW friends, I havent forgot the email I had just after Christmas, sorry mate if you are reading this.

Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.
Love them Dove, want them, need them, must have them!
WOW! Just been wading in the stream, removing the debris, that comes off the moor, during heavy rainfall. I turned over a rock to remove a bit of black plastic, and I found a fresh water Crayfish [ American Signal type sadly], but still amazing.
We have so much life in the stream, which is remarkable considering that in the 1960s, it was regarded as too polluted to contain any life.
Isn't nature amazing.
