Happy New Year to everyone, I too have a clear head David and it took me a lot longer than you, often woke up cuddling an accordion not knowing where I was amid a mess of empty bottles and old food, those days long gone thank goodness though fondly remembered? why?

Welcome back Sunflower, a lot less fireworks around this year, did watch London, went on a bit too long.

Weather dull, frost gone flower count nil.

    Frank.

I feel like I've got a hangover but didn't touch a drop last night as was picking my son up from a party. Got a bit worried when he hadn't called by 1:30 this morning to be picked up, but he was in remarkably good condition after his first house party when I picked him up at 2:00 in the morning image Judging by the amount of young people sprawled over the street when I arrived, a good time was had by all. I thought it a bit anti-social to start on the fireworks when we got back at 2:30, so saved them for tonight. Fortunately had an old friend staying to natter too and barely noticed 12:00 as we had so much to catch up on.image

Not too many flowers for the count.

    Daffodils

    Periwinkle

    Perrenial wallflower

    Winter flowering honeysuckle

Flowers still on two varieties of fuschia

    A solitary flower on forsythia

     Happy New year all.

I took this photo this morning. They were weighed down with frost the two days ago. Most of my other daffodils are hardly showing above the ground. This must be an early variety.
